Two Worlds

Genre: RPG
Available On: Xbox 360, PC

Graphics:
The graphics in Two Worlds are alright. The shading and textures appear "unpolished." Some of the textures (especially on the armour) looked sloppy and just random mix of colours. The view distance is decent, however it could have been improved. The scenery looks good, they look very authentic of the era being perceived in the game. The city design also looks authentic and the castles look stunning and very intimidating. The creatures look good and their animations perform very well in conjuction with the textures and shading. Overall, the graphics do what they were mean't to do and are decent at best.
Gameplay:

Two Worlds is an easy game to pick up and play. However, in the beginning of the game almost everything can kill you (including wolves) with ease. The world is easy to manoeuver and many hills are climable (you don't have to run up the clipping). There are various main roads and side roads which easily lead you to most objectives. However, a lot of quests are very hard to figure out. They have very little, if no information presented to the player at all (ie "Find Dave"). This can make the game frustrating and annoying to play, although many quests (including the main quest) have markers on the map where the quest wants the player to go. The leveling system is very easy to use and spells are very simple to combine (to make them stronger) and to use. The placing of points (ie talent points) is easy, and the skills are very easy to understand since they all have a full description. Overall, the gameplay is very good with just a few small issues that should have been worked out. However these issues are very small and don't interupt the gameplay very much at all.
Audio:
The audio in Two Worlds is decent. Some of the sounds from the environment are kind of corny and annoying. Such as some really random bird "yelping." The voiceovers are not very well done at all, as the tone of the voices raise and drop repeatedly. The combat noises are annoying and un-authentic. It almost sounds like an old martial arts movie. Overall, the sound is not very well done, however, the sound track is decent and is really the only part of the audio in the game that is worth listening to.
Other:
Even though there are faults with Two Worlds, the game is still enjoyable, However, getting all the achievements is impossible due to a glitch that doesn't allow you to find all the locations (and underground loactions). The gameplay and storyline, however, is really where this game shines and those alone really make the game enjoyable.

 Rating: 8.2/10
